These terms govern your use of lightgolddiamond.com and any order you place with us. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Refund and Return Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

Using this site

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree to give accurate information when you order and to keep your account details secure. You may not use the site for anything unlawful, attempt to interfere with it, or copy its content for commercial use without our written permission.

Products and descriptions

We sell lab-grown diamond and moissanite jewellery. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds, created in a laboratory. Moissanite is a separate gemstone, silicon carbide, and is not a diamond. Each product page states clearly which stone the piece contains, and we do not describe a moissanite piece as a diamond.

We work to show colours and finishes accurately, but screens vary and photographs are enlarged to show detail. Stone measurements carry a normal manufacturing tolerance of about ten per cent, and because each piece is made by hand there may be slight variation between one piece and another.

Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars and are shown on the product page. Prices and promotions can change at any time before you place an order. Shipping is added at checkout; duties and import taxes are covered in our Shipping Policy.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a typing or system error, we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you, and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Payment is taken when you place the order. We accept the methods shown at checkout.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, and refund you in full, if the item is unavailable, if the price was wrong, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud.

Every piece is made to order. Crafting and delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy, and cancellation is covered in our Refund and Return Policy.

Custom and engraved pieces

Custom designs and engraved items are made to your specification and cannot be returned or exchanged. Please check your spelling, sizing and design details carefully before confirming, as we produce exactly what is approved.

Returns

Our Refund and Return Policy sets out your right to return or exchange an item, what cannot be returned, and how refunds are made. It forms part of these terms.

Warranty and care

We warrant that your jewellery will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This does not cover ordinary wear, scratching, loss of stones through impact, damage from chemicals or sport, or work carried out by another jeweller, which ends the warranty. Our Jewelry Care page explains how to look after your piece.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including photographs, designs, text and the Light Gold Diamond name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce it without our written permission.

Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
